GUERILLA FX WELCOMES CD/EFX SUPERVISOR/DIRECTOR JOHN BAIR
AND EP VIVIAN CONNOLLY
Guerilla FX continues its expansion with the addition of Creative
Director/Effects Supervisor/Director John Bair and Executive
Producer Vivian Connolly, it was announced today by Partner/
Creative Director Thor Raxlen.
“I’ve known John for many years. When I heard he was looking for
a new shop, I jumped at the chance to have him join us,” explained
Raxlen. “John is a tremendous asset, a consummate artist and a
pro. Vivian is a solid and experienced EP who has worked handin-glove
with John for years. Couldn’t be more delighted to have
these two strong and very talented additions to our team.”

GETTY IMAGES DEBUTS PREMIUM PLAYLIST
Getty Images unveiled Premium Playlist, a new music collection
which makes popular music available for commercial licensing in
motion pictures, broadcast, advertising, websites and new media.
Premium Playlist will serve as a unique, centralized outlet for
licensors of music to access song libraries from a broad range
of sources, as well as a clearing house for licensing rights. Getty
Images plans to quickly expand its Premium Playlist catalog by
striking non-exclusive deals with major and independent recording
labels, music publishers, management companies, artists and
other content owners to act as a synch licensing arm.
Available online, where it will benefit from worldwide distribution
to customers in over 100 countries, Premium Playlist will additionally
be promoted through Getty Images’ expansive global licensing
distribution channel of more than 600 sales and rights clearance
professionals.
“From rights and clearance, to music supervision, to premium
content or Pump Audio’s independent library, Getty Images makes
it easier for customers to secure the high-quality, versatile music
they need all in one place,” says Vince Bannon, vice president
of entertainment partnerships and development at Getty Images.
