Shelter Hits Major Milestone
Company Tags 1,000th Spot For Y&R And Land Rover
Shelter (Irvine, Calif.), a prominent, full-service editorial and finishing house
specializing in national and regional TV spots, has just completed its 1,000th spot
for client Y&R and Land Rover. Stuart Shook, president and founder of Shelter,
made the announcement. (To view the latest Land Rover spot, titled “Set Free,”
please see: http://www.shelterpost.com/landrover.)
Christopher Coleman, Y&R’s Executive Broadcast Producer, said: “The work Shelter
does for us on Land Rover is very important. The requirement for accuracy is
paramount on this type of work. One mistake can cost the agency time, money and
make-goods on missed media. The Shelter team understands this requirement and
delivers on a regular
basis.”
Shook said, “We
are very pleased
to be working with
Y&R and Land
Rover and to have
reached the 1,000spot
milestone
in less than a
year. This type of
work can be very
demanding and
requires nothing less than perfection. We may “tag” as many as 150 spots over
a three-day period and obviously every spot must be correct. We have an
excellent team headed by executive producer Jennifer (JP) Patterson, along
with Smoke artist Adam Lobel, who has been working on the account for several
years. We were also able to accommodate Y&R’s requirements for spots to be
finished in HD with our newly upgraded 2009 Smoke HD finishing system.”
About Shelter:
Founded in 2004 by Stuart Shook, Shelter offers state-of-the-art, full service post
production editorial services for a broad range of top clients and advertising

the ability to offer its clients a combination of extensive industry experience with
top-level creativity and customer service. Shelter’s clients include Del Taco, Nissan,
