about advertising. However, none of them would prove
valuable when he finally got hired up on the creative floor.
Crawling into his signature role as a journeyman within
the agency, he jumped from brand to brand, product
to product, getting his hands dirty on plenty of different
clients, including Continental, P&G and a little Burger King
every now and then.
The fun in every ad is what’s important – not necessarily
humor, but just something that can jump out and spark
a smile. In addition to a controversial “Best Eyes in the
Agency” win in 2003, he won the Circulo Creativo Young
Creative Contest for Print two years in a row (2006 and
2007) for a chance to compete in Cannes representing the
US Hispanic market. He’s returning this year with a different
partner, fellow Bromleyian (Bromleyite? Bromleyer?) Franco
Caballero. The chemistry is great, their minds are focused,
and they’re ready and/or willing to bring it home. The prize,
that is. Home to San Antonio. San Antonio, Texas.
