Leo Burnett And GARTNER Go Back To College With “Dorm Room”
In a new spot created via Leo Burnett, James Gartner takes us inside
a “Dorm Room,” where some college girls try to come up with the
best message to place in Hallmark’s new Recordable Card; the result
is a rocking Mothers Day message. The spot ends on a humorous note
as “Mom” tears up at the unbelievable message. Chris Claeys of Cutters
(Chicago) edited the spot, with James Gartner from GARTNER (Los
Angeles) as director. The spot is airing now.

Beautiful Hair Never Looked So Fierce
Salon Selectives® has teamed up with Laughlin
Constable (Chicago) to create the new spot
“Hydra.” The campaign creates a new genre of
advertising for the hair care category – action
fashion – as a springboard to reinforce the brand’s
core message: with Salon Selectives, women can
choose the combination of products that will
allow them to look and feel their best, “like they
just stepped out of a salon.” Anne West, chief
marketing officer for Salon Selectives stated,
“The new campaign leverages the brand’s
original core messages of transformation and
customization while modernizing the theme.”
